Why does my current sliding window leak?
Usually the frame was fitted out of level, the drainage slots are blocked or the sash seal has worn. A new KlassicView frame has a weather flap built in and we fit it level with the drainage clear.
Can both sashes slide?
The standard configuration has one fixed and one sliding sash. We can quote a double slider where the opening suits it.
Is a sliding window secure?
The sash locks with a mullion lock as standard, and we can add a security screen in the same frame groove.
Which frame do I need, 53mm or 76mm?
The 53mm frame covers openings to about 1500mm x 1200mm with single glazing. Go to 76mm for wider sashes, heavier glass or double glazing.
How long does a replacement take?
A standard sliding window swap takes about an hour per window on site once the frames are fabricated. Fabrication lead time is confirmed on the quote.
