Two panels, one clean line.

Aluminium Sliding Doors in Penrith

A sliding door is the standard way out to a patio or balcony: one fixed panel, one sliding, nothing swinging into the room or over the deck. Newage fabricates architectural sliding doors at our Penrith workshop from the CityView range, with a thermally broken ClimateGuard version for double glazing, and fits a flyscreen or security screen on the same track.

Who We Are

Local sliding door installers, not a call centre.

Most sliding door problems come from the sill: fitted out of level, the door drifts and the rollers wear on one side. We measure, fabricate in Penrith and install with our own team, then adjust the rollers and lock before we leave. For wider openings see our sliding and stacking doors page.

Questions about sliding doors?

What is the difference between CityView and KlassicView sliding doors?

CityView is the architectural range with slimmer frames and higher performance ratings. KlassicView is the residential range and covers stacking layouts. We quote whichever suits the opening and budget.

Yes. A sliding ScreenGuard or PerfGuard panel runs on the frame, fitted at the same time as the door.

Yes. For double glazing we recommend the ClimateGuard thermally broken frame so the aluminium does not conduct heat around the glass.

Usually the side nearest the walkway or the kitchen. We confirm the handing at the measure.

Up to about 3 metres in most configurations. Beyond that a stacking door with three or more panels is the better option.
