Maximum glass, minimum frame.
Aluminium Fixed Frame Windows in Penrith
A fixed window does not open. That makes it the cheapest way to put a lot of glass in a wall, and the best way to frame a view of the Nepean, the escarpment or your own garden without a sash line through the middle. Newage fabricates KlassicView fixed frames in 53mm and 76mm depths at our Penrith workshop, glazed single or double, and fits them alongside opening windows from the same range so the frame lines match.

Local fixed window installers, not a call centre.
Large fixed panes are heavy and unforgiving. If the frame is a few millimetres out the glass is under stress and the sightlines look wrong against the opening windows beside it. We measure, fabricate in Penrith and fit with our own team, and we glaze big panels on site where access calls for it.
- Tested to Australian Standard AS2047
- Insured installation team
- Fixed price written quotes
- Flyscreens fitted at the same visit

Get a Free QuoteQuestions about fixed windows?
How big can a fixed window be?
The 53mm frame goes to about 2400mm high by 1200mm wide per panel. The 76mm frame takes larger and heavier panels. Bigger openings are split with a mullion so the frame lines still match.
Can a fixed window be double glazed?
Yes. The 53mm frame accepts 20mm double glazed units and the 76mm frame carries heavier units.
Can I mix fixed and opening windows in one frame?
Yes. Fixed panels couple to awning, sliding and double hung sashes from the same KlassicView range, which is the usual way to do a large living room window.
What happens if the glass breaks?
The frame uses external beading, so a glazier can replace the pane without removing the frame.
Does a fixed window need a flyscreen?
No, because it does not open. That is one reason it is the lowest cost window per square metre of glass.
