PerfGuard is punched from a single sheet of aluminium rather than woven from wire, making it a more affordable option than premium stainless mesh while still adding a physical security layer.
Does perforated mesh block much light or view?
The perforation pattern is designed to maintain good outward visibility and airflow, with a more open appearance than a solid grille.
Is PerfGuard suitable for coastal homes?
Yes, the aluminium construction is corrosion resistant, making it suited to coastal exposure. For very high salt-spray environments, a marine-grade stainless mesh may be recommended instead.
Can PerfGuard be fitted to existing door and window frames?
In most cases yes. We measure your existing openings during the free on-site visit and fabricate the mesh and frame to fit.

PerfGuard provides a comparable physical barrier to a diamond grille in a lighter, more modern format. For certified forced-entry ratings, a tested mesh system such as ScreenGuard may be recommended instead.
