What we see in Emu Heights homes.
Emu Heights jobs are shaped by the hill and the bush. Sloping blocks mean split level homes with big windows facing the view, and the top streets sit on the bushfire interface. We replace original windows with KlassicView frames, size fixed and awning windows for the view, and recommend screens and glass that suit the bushfire attack level where it applies. Security screens and flyscreens follow on most jobs.
- Tested to Australian Standard AS2047 and AS5039

Local things we plan for in Emu Heights.
A few conditions come up on most Emu Heights jobs and change what we recommend.
Bushfire interface
Top streets back onto national park and carry BAL ratings. We advise on compliant mesh and glazing at the measure.
Sloping blocks and decks
Split level homes open onto decks. Stacking doors and fixed glass make the most of the view.
Wind off the escarpment
Exposed positions need well flashed frames and water rated doors.
Access on steep sites
We plan the install for the slope, including lifting larger panels safely on the high side.

My Emu Heights house backs onto bush, what screens do you recommend?
Depends on the bushfire attack level. Stainless mesh and aluminium framed screens are generally the right direction; we confirm against your BAL at the measure.
Can you fit big view windows on a sloping Emu Heights block?
Yes. KlassicView 76mm fixed frames carry large panels, and we plan the lift for the slope.
