Aluminium Bifold Doors in Penrith
A bifold door is a row of hinged panels that fold flat against each other at one or both ends, clearing the whole opening. For an alfresco that really joins the living room, nothing else matches it. Newage fabricates HarbourView multi fold doors at our Penrith workshop in top rolling and bottom rolling versions and installs them with the head and sill set to the millimetre.

Local bifold door installers, not a call centre.
Bifolds punish a sloppy install more than any other door. If the head or sill is out of level the panels bind. We measure the structural opening, advise on the lintel, fabricate in Penrith and install with our own team, then adjust every hinge and roller. Bifold work takes us across Penrith, the Hawkesbury and the lower Blue Mountains.
- Tested to Australian Standard AS2047
- Insured installation team
- Fixed price written quotes
- Lintel and head detail checked at the measure
What you get with a HarbourView bifold door
Two systems from the architectural range. Top rolling hangs the panels from the head for a flush sill; bottom rolling carries the weight on the sill track.

Where bifold doors work best.
Wide openings where you want the whole width clear, and where there is wall space for the folded panels.
Living room to alfresco
Fold the panels back and the two spaces become one.
Openings 3 to 6 metres
Up to seven panels cover openings a stacker would split with fixed glass.
Corner openings
Two bifold runs can meet at a corner post or a cornerless detail.
Flush sill entries
The top rolling system allows a low sill for level access.

Get a Free QuoteQuestions about bifold doors?
Top rolling or bottom rolling?
Top rolling hangs the panels from a head beam and allows a flush sill, but needs a strong lintel. Bottom rolling carries the weight on the sill and suits openings where the head cannot take the load.
Bifold or stacking door?
A bifold clears the whole opening but the folded panels need space and it costs more. A stacker is cheaper and keeps a flyscreen track. We quote both if you are undecided.
Can I fit a flyscreen to a bifold?
A standard sliding flyscreen does not suit a bifold. Retractable pleated screens are available as a separate item.
Can one panel work as a normal door?
Yes. An access leaf opens on its own so you do not fold the whole run to step outside.
How many panels do I need?
Panel width is usually 700mm to 1000mm, so a 4 metre opening is typically four or five panels. We set it out at the measure.
