Aluminium Louvre Windows in Penrith

A louvre window is a row of glass blades that tilt open together, so you can set the airflow anywhere from closed to almost the full opening. In Penrith summers that makes it the best window for wet rooms, sleep outs and sunrooms that need to breathe. Newage fabricates KlassicView louvre windows at our Penrith workshop with 102mm or 152mm blades and fits them with a flyscreen or barrier screen.

Who We Are

Local louvre window installers, not a call centre.

Many Penrith and Blue Mountains homes still have the original louvres from the 1960s and 70s with loose blades and no screens. We replace them with a new KlassicView louvre in the same opening, measured and fabricated in Penrith and fitted by our own installers, with a barrier screen where security matters.

What you get with a KlassicView louvre window

Questions about louvre windows?

Do louvre windows seal when closed?

Modern KlassicView louvres close with the blades overlapping onto seals, far better than old style louvres, though an awning window seals tighter if that is the priority.

On their own, less so than a locked sash. That is why we fit a barrier screen in the frame groove on ground floor louvres.

Smaller blades give more frame lines and a traditional look. 152mm blades give a cleaner look and fewer joints. Both move the same amount of air for the same opening.

Yes. The frame has a groove that takes a flyscreen or a heavier barrier screen.

Yes. We cover Glenbrook, Blaxland, Springwood and Winmalee from Penrith, and we can discuss bushfire rated glazing options at the measure.
