Ventilation that works in the rain.
Aluminium Awning Windows in Penrith
An awning window is hinged at the top and opens outward from the bottom, so you can leave it open in light rain and still get airflow. Newage Windows and Doors fabricates KlassicView awning windows at our Lemko Place workshop in Penrith and installs them across Western Sydney, the Hawkesbury and the lower Blue Mountains. Two frame depths cover everything from a small bathroom window to a wide feature opening.
- Free on-site measure in Penrith and surrounds
- Chain winder or stainless steel stays
- 53mm and 76mm frame options
- Flyscreen groove built into the frame

Local awning window installers, not a call centre.
Every awning window we fit is measured by the person who will install it. We cut and assemble the frames in Penrith, glaze them to your spec, and fit them with our own installers rather than subcontractors. That matters for an awning window, because the sash has to sit square in the frame for the winder to close evenly and the seals to hold.
- Tested to Australian Standard AS2047
- Insured installation team
- Fixed price written quotes
- Flyscreens fitted at the same visit
What you get with a KlassicView awning window
Both frame depths use a hook hinge system that lets the sash lift out for cleaning and makes installation faster. The 53mm frame suits most standard openings. The 76mm frame takes larger sashes and heavier glass for bigger openings and double glazing.
- Hook hinge with chain winder or stainless steel stays
- Glass from 4mm to 10.38mm single glazed on the 53mm frame
- Frame sizes to 1500mm x 1200mm on the 53mm system
- Deeper 76mm frame for larger sashes and heavier glazing
- Dedicated flyscreen groove on both frames
- Powder coat colours to match existing windows

Where awning windows work best.
Awning windows suit any room where you want air without rain coming in, and any opening where a sliding or double hung window would look too busy.
Bathrooms and laundries
Open the sash a few centimetres for steam to escape, rain or not.
Above kitchen benches
A winder puts the handle within easy reach over a sink or benchtop.
Bedrooms and living areas
Night ventilation with the sash cracked open, and a clean frame line from the street.
High or wide openings
The 76mm frame carries bigger sashes for feature windows and double glazing.

Should I choose the 53mm or 76mm awning window?
The 53mm frame covers most standard openings up to about 1500mm x 1200mm with single glazing. Go to the 76mm frame for bigger sashes, heavier glass or double glazing. We confirm this at the measure.
Can I leave an awning window open when it rains?
Yes, in light rain. The sash opens outward from the bottom and acts as a hood over the opening. Close it in heavy or wind driven rain.
Chain winder or stainless steel stays, which is better?
A chain winder gives controlled opening and locks in place, which suits high or hard to reach windows. Stays are simpler and cheaper and suit windows you can reach easily.
Can I fit a flyscreen to an awning window?
Yes. Both KlassicView frames have a dedicated flyscreen groove, and the screen sits on the inside because the sash opens outward. We fit the screens at the same visit.
Do you install awning windows outside Penrith?
Yes. We cover Penrith, St Marys, Blacktown, the Hawkesbury and the lower Blue Mountains, roughly a 30 minute drive from our workshop. Check the service areas page for your suburb.
